SOIL FORMATION AND DEVELOPMENT

Soil genesis, commonly termed pedogenesis, is the complex process by which soils are formed. This continuous transformation involves the combination of numerous factors, including atmospheric conditions, topography, parent material, organic matter, and time. These components act in a collective manner to shape the physical, chemical, and biological
